​Commanding a spectacular view of the southernmost benches of the Willamette Valley, the five acres above Territorial Hwy. near Briggs Hill Road are planted to pinot noir, pinot gris and pinot blanc on shallow marine soils. We have emphasized clonal diversity and meticulous hands-on attention in the vineyard as what will best express the uniqueness of our site.

THE VINEYARD

 

Our five acre vineyard was planted in 2005-2010 on grafted rootstock at 1245 vines per acre, to pinot noir, pinot gris and pinot blanc. We are sited on south/southwest facing slopes at 600 to 675 ft, over Willakenzie and Bellpine marine soils. These soils are ideal for creating wines with depth of fruit, spice and earth tones. Pinot noir clones of Pommard, 114, 115, 777 and 828 fulfill our desire to make a wine of complexity and character. We strongly believe that clonal diversity and meticulous hands on  attention in the vineyard best expresses the uniqueness of our site
